The NordicTrack Elite 12.9T replaced the popular 12.7 model with additional entertainment and performance features that make the 12.9T an incredibly durable, steady and innovative trainer. The extra heavy flywheel combined with the various customizable features and number of workout programs creates a versatile and reliable trainer ideal for cross training. However, if you want to be able to set the stride length as needed, this trainer does not allow for that and instead features an auto adjustable stride dependent on the level of incline.

The NordicTrack Elite 12.9T is the home use front drive trainer in the NordicTrack line of Elite elliptical trainers and the latest model of it’s predecessor, the Elite 12.7. This elliptical trainer is easy to use with in-handle one touch controls, stationary and moving handlebars, and oversized cushioned foot pedals. The front drive design is also preferable by many, creating a forward leaning motion with the motor in the front of the trainer. With a flywheel weight of 32 pounds, the 12.9T offers an incredibly smooth and sturdy feel. When it comes to customizable features, this model features a power adjustable incline of 0 to 20 degrees and a stride that adjusts from 20 to 21 inches depending on the incline. The 12.9T features a 7 inch web-enabled color touch screen, fitted with 35 built-in workout programs and iFit compatibility. The console also comes with an iPod compatible sound system with two 2-inch speakers, a built-in fan, tablet holder and water bottle holder. A wireless heart rate monitoring system is also included for easy hands-free monitoring and goal tracking. The 12.9T comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame, 5 years on parts and two on labor.
