Sole E25 Elliptical Review
Sole E25 Elliptical Detailed Overview
If you’re looking for head-to-toe muscle sculpting possibilities, the Sole E25 cross trainer won’t disappoint. You’ll stay comfortable throughout your entire workout as the E25’s handlebars are moulded to support multiple grip positions, also allowing you to focus on toning a variety of upper body muscles. As for the lower body, just ramp up the E25’s power incline to a maximum of 20 degrees for a serious training boost. Another way the E25 helps you train different muscle groups in the lower body is its ability to alter between forward and reverse pedaling motions.
Resistance is provided by a 20-pound flywheel, which is fairly heavy for a machine in its price class; it makes for a comfortable, and smooth ride. To ensure comfort, Sole ellipticals also feature a unique foot pedal design that simply isn’t found on other cross trainers. The pedals even have a two-degree inward slope, as recommended by physical therapists to reduce the likelihood of ankle or knee stress.
Workout programming on the E25 features the same preset options as Sole’s top-of-the-line E98: 10 workout modes to support efficient heart rate training, weight loss, and workouts for muscle definition. The default display is a 6.5″ LCD, but trainees can dock their tablet or smartphone on the integrated tablet holder to set up workouts and track their progress too. The E25’s compatibility with the Sole Fitness app means users can sync their treadmill workout data with their favorite fitness app such as FitBit, MyFitnessPal or Apple Health. The Sole Fitness app will keep monitoring your exercise data in the background as you enjoy your TV shows, podcasts or music on your device.
The Sole E25 has an MSRP of $1,799, but often sells online for as little $999. With this price, it’s easily one of the best ellipticals on the market under $1,000. When purchased directly from Sole Fitness, the E25 is shipped with a warranty package including lifetime coverage for the frame, three years on parts and electronics, and one year of in-home labor. This excellent warranty package demonstrates that Sole has built these machines to last.

The Bottom Line
Smoother and more durable than its competitors, the Sole E25 Elliptical is a great value machine when it’s on sale for $999. It offers the classic selection of workouts found on other Sole and health club elliptical trainers as well as accommodating for two users to save their profiles for quick-start convenience. We also like how the elliptical can play music and podcasts, hold a tablet computer, and communicate with mobile fitness apps for fluid exercise data syncing.
Advanced trainees or people who carry lots of weight should choose a higher model number such as the E95, but the E25 is ideal for many shoppers on fixed budgets.
